From DAVIDsTEA

Worth singing about
We’ll never forget the day Jessie Farrell came into our store looking for lavender tea. The red-headed country star was on a quest. She wanted something comforting, energizing and antioxidant-filled that she could drink all day long. Together, we came up with this pretty blend of lavender, rooibos, coconut and cornflowers. Try it. You’ll understand why she wrote a song about it.

Price per 50g: $7.50

I received this tea as a sample in my recent DAVIDsTea order. I never jumped on it at the store, as after smelling it, it wasn’t "wow"ing me and I voted to get more interesting teas on those shopping trips.

This is my first time drinking lavender.. I’ve had it in cookies and my oil diffuser, but not in my tea. This cup I can really taste the lavender (flavour wise… not the minty sharp like a lavender oil) and the coconut smooths it out. I’d say it is a mellow, relaxing, smooth tea. The rooibos isn’t noticed much (which I don’t mind).

In the end… it was nice to get a sample. It’s not bad, but I don’t think it’s my kind of tea, nor did it “wow” me. It’s different, but I won’t go and buy more of it.

I really loved the smell of this one but I think it is the lavender in here that I don’t like. Not sure though, maybe it is just a weird combination for me.
I will have to give it one more chance in the advent calendar sample before I make my final decision.

Mmmm. I ordered a David’s Tea 24 Days of Tea advent calendar, and when it arrived I found a little bag of three free single servings of tea! This was one of them. I was very intrigued, because the name is vague, but what was in the tin sure looked pretty! I brewed up a cup tonight, and am thoroughly impressed. I drank the mug before coming on here to find out what it actually is… but I guessed rooibos right, I guessed lavender right, and I almost guessed the coconut right! I was going to say it tastes kind of “nutty”, but now that I know it’s coconut, I can definitely taste it. I would also like to note… that I’m not always a huge fan of lavender. I’m really picky about artificial lavender scents vs. natural lavender, and even then… I am still difficult to please. But it’s subtle in this tea, and I really enjoy just the hint of lavender!

It’s warming, but not heavy. Rich but not over-powering. I had mine with a touch of agave and a bit of soymilk. I love it. I’ll definitely buy some more of it the next time I’m in the store!

This was one of the first teas I tried from Davids Tea, and looking back, I don’t even know why I bought it. I have never been a fan of lavender, and when they first took the canister down for me to smell it I thought it just smelled…weird.

When I actually tried some, it was better than it smelled, but I still wasn’t hooked. Somehow, the flavour really grew on be because this is now my number 1 tea! I always make sure I have some onhand, and when I’m having a bad day the first thing I do is brew a cup.

I don’t find the lavender taste or smell to be overwhelming, everything mixes together really well, and it is just amazing. The only negative thing I could possibly say is that some of the pieces are so small that they don’t always strain well – but that really isn’t a big deal, and it depends what I am using to make my tea.

I think I might make some now!

My favourite caffeine free tea for sure. This tea is delicious; the fragrance of lavender and coconut aren’t that bad either. :)

I needed something to help me sleep during that period. I went looking for lavender. The tea didn’t help me sleep but it was damn good to get me through a night at work! Lavender used to make me sleep but that tea is a booster. While you relax with your mug in your hand, you feel like jumping in the air right after! Once again, if you don’t like coconut, don’t buy this baby. It’s delicious, but the coconut is strong.

I love Jessie’s Tea. I tasted at least 15 different teas from DavidsTea and this is my favourite! It’s calming. It tastes lavender, vanilla and chocolate. Is it too much saying that I can’t live without it? :)

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I didn’t see Jessies delicous lavender tea wasn’t on here yet, so I couldn’t resist grabbing the David’s Tea description and photo and smacking ’er on here!

One of the most calming teas that have met my lips. As usual, I add honey to my tea, and might I say, Jessie’s Tea and honey definitely correspond beautifully. Today I spent about half an hour with my sister and grandma in the centre of the Pine Centre mall drinking the tea and I had not been that calm in ages, it felt like it went surging throughout my entire body, calming every nerve. Ever agitated? Try Jessie’s.

Really nice tea.

I don’t often pay full price for a tea I’ve never tried, but I had a feeling this would be really good. I wasn’t disappointed. Nice, not overly sweet, coconutty flavour.

Wow, I really like this one! I feel like this is a tea made up of a bunch of controversial flavors that I happen to love.

The rooibos and lavender are there at the beginning of the sip, and the coconut comes in at the end. And it’s not just coconut, it’s like a tropical mixed coconut drink, super tasty. My only complaint is that I wish there was more lavender!
