From DAVIDsTEA

Grown on the slopes of Japan’s famous Mount Fuji, these dark, glossy leaves are the very first plucking of the year. When steeped, they make a deliciously complex sencha: clear and emerald green, with notes of creamy butter and fresh mountain meadows. This steamed, very high-end organic tea is also known for its top levels of antioxidants. Steep it more than once to experience its full range.

The first cup was over steeped slightly and a touch bitter. Second steep was successful. It tastes a little grassy and it is smooth, but is it far from amazing. Actually, I find it kinda boring.

This made me laugh… that’s totally how I feel about some senchas… grassy. And then to top it off… I’m feeling kind of bored. Maybe I’m easy to please this morning, but it got a giggle out of me.
