From DAVIDsTEA

How it tastes: Rich black tea with a touch of creamy-sweet vanilla and a citrusy hint of bergamot.

Lovers of Earl Grey tea adore this creamy alternative to the original breakfast blend. You’ll recognize the same high-quality black tea, the same citrus burst of bergamot oil, the same beautiful grey-blue petals. However this version adds a touch of vanilla, and the result is an unexpectedly rich, creamy taste experience. Try it on its own or as a satisfying tea latte.

What makes it great:
• A vanilla twist on the classic Earl Grey.
• Amazing infused into desserts. Try adding a shot to your next custard.
• Makes a killer London Fog. Just add hot frothed milk and a bit of agave

Ingredients
Organic black tea*, Natural (cream, vanilla) flavouring, Organic marigolds, Organic bergamot flavouring, Cornflower petals.

Heavenly. Earl Grey and vanilla, two of my favourite things. Tastes like a London Fog, which is great, because lazybones me can’t be bothered to faff about in my kitchen, attempting to steam milk properly. Typically, I am a rebel, and I let my tea steep indefinitely, but this is one that will go rather bitter if left sitting too long. Still. Whoever created this deserves all the awards.

Stacey: This is certainly not your typical cup of Earl Grey but it’s not too wacky either. DAVIDsTEA doesn’t throw intense flavours at you; just subtle hints of vanilla; that changes it up a bit. If you’re a fan of London Fogs, this is the tea for you (with less of a sugary base, of course). Mmm! A solid tea and a good staple to have in our cupboards. I give it 8/10 because it’s the best Earl Grey I think I’ve ever tasted.

Brooke: This is a good morning tea; it starts you off on the right foot, creamy and smooth. No milk needed, no sugar needed. Reminds me of my Aunt-tea (get it?). Yep, I’m okay with us buying a batch of this for the cupboard [Stacey: I’m okay with that too, we need some regulars in here]. I know I keep giving this out, but another solid 8.5/10.

For an earl grey (which I generally can’t stand) this is drinkable. If I’d had some vanilla I would have turned it into a London Fog, but I didn’t, so I drank half a cup and poured the rest away. I think one day I’ll be grown up enough to like earl grey, but not yet, maybe it’ll be around the same time I’ll suddenly start drinking sherry.

Tea #5 of 24. I’m not enjoying this as much as I though I would. The smell while brewing was great but for me the taste just doesn’t stand up to the smell. Maybe I’m just not an Earl Grey fan. It’s drinkable but I wouldn’t go back for more.

SMELLS LIKE FRUIT LOOPS! This is like a far better version of their original Earl Grey, which is far too bitter. I can definitely taste the vanilla in this.

I haven’t had this particular tea in months though from my memory, I can say that I really did enjoy this tea. The bergamot flavour was strong the tea was definitely creamy just like the name :)

delicious, the vanilla adds a great new dynamic in the earl grey.
