This tea is really bold and fruity but yet tolerable. I am eager to try this iced in the summer as I think it might actually be better cold than warm. I only got 10g but I would definetely consider picking up some more.

Bought this on a whim and first tried it iced – I steeped it for way too long, and it was absolutely disgusting!

Luckily, tonight I decided to try it again, hot this time. Sniffing the bag of loose tea, it smells very grapefruity/citrusy. Drinking it now, I find I quite like it – it really doesn’t taste as grapefruity as it smells, which is a good thing, at least for me. I added a little bit of honey, so it is still slightly tart, but not too much so. Leaves a citrus aftertaste which is refreshing.

I’ll definitely drink this again, and I think it will be great cold, if I don’t leave it steeping for too long. The deep pink colour would look wonderful in a clear pitcher or glass. I can definitely see myself enjoying this iced, outdoors on a hot summer day!

Dried leaf smell was amazing so I just had to try this. I had it iced and it was oversteeped but I feel that brought out more of the grapefruit-y ness to it. It’s quite refreshing and apparently good with vodka :P

Edit 11/11/13: Had a whiff of this from my stash the other day and maybe my senses have changed but although I like this tea, it’s smell reminds me of.. cleaning detergent? LOL

I feel this tea was really well done. I enjoy it both iced and hot and the flavour takes you in many different directions. (Not nearly as much as Exotica!)

It has the sour and tart flavour or grapefruit but without the bitterness to go along with it. It has kick but still smooth to drink. I find it very enjoyable. Careful on steeping too long!!

In the winter, I was drinking this hot. Now that its summer I have tried it iced, and I love it both ways. It is the perfect citrus blend. I can’t generally have citrus teas as I am deathly allergic to mango but this one here doesn’t have mango in it so it is perfect. I get the perfect summery fruit blend without dying !

I have tried at least 20 or 30 teas, this is my favorite! experiment with the brewing a little to see how you like it. For me- i like it as hot tea or iced- i brew with boiling water- set for 5 minutes… 2 teaspons makes a nice sized mug.

This tea iced with a bit of agave, summer in a cup. Nothing explains it better! It’s perfectly fruit and sweet, not overpowering but still maintains a strong flavour. This may be my new favourite tea for the summer time!

I like fruity teas, so this one smelt great in the store. I’m having my first cup, the initial taste is great, but there is an aftertaste that I can’t quite pin down. I think I like it, I will have to try it a few more times.

Very, very tart. I had this when I was sick with a terrible cold and loaded it up with honey, but can’t really remember what I thought of it. Some of my friends tried it plain, and said it was way too hibiscus-tart. :(

For some reason, I thought “pink flamingo” must be strawberry! I just got my first order of Davids Tea and so far so good! This was a little tart for my taste tonight, but I’m going to ice it and drink the rest tomorrow. I do like it though!
