Now that’s fresh.

When it comes to rooibos, some say green is the new red. Because while red rooibos tastes great, some say the new wave of unoxidized green rooibos is even better. What’s so special? The production process, which is similar to that of green tea, gives it a smooth, fresh taste. Here we’ve topped it up with the tropical flavours of papaya, apple, mango and peach.

Ingredients: South African green and red rooibos, apple, mango, papaya.

While not being overly fond of the rooibos teas, I was introduced to this tea by a friend who absolutely was shocked by how good it is.
After smelling, I was rather skeptical but don’t look the cover on this book fool you, this green rooibos blend is a true wonder.
When agave is added this tea turns into a luxurious fruity beverage that I find is very enjoyable in the frigid months leading in and out of Winter.
While I personally find that this tea isn’t as strong iced as it is hot, it is still a very pleasant addition to anyone’s cupboard.

I’m not a huge rooibos fan but I really did like this one. Not too sweet either!

#13. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name but not bad. To me it smelled like melons, kind of like cantaloupe. Surprisingly it had a melon flavor since that doesn’t seem to be one of the ingredients. It tasted like the white part between the rind and red part of watermelon. I don’t think it will make it into regular rotation but it was enjoyable.

One of my favourite “summer” teas. This is light and fruity and refreshing.

I did this one cold and without much sweetener. I might have to try it again with a bit more sweetness

It’s ok, I prefer my rooibos creamy and dessert-like.

Another one that I wanted to love. It smells great but I was kinda blah about it. I think I just prefer Red Rooibos to Green.

Another great Rooibos blend. This is the first time I’ve ever tried a Green Rooibos and I was very impressed. Great smell and I can’t wait to turn it into an iced tea.

Green and Fruity is a great tea. It’s probably my favourite fruit tea from DavidsTea with a great balance of flavours and sweetness to it. I tend to eat the fruit pieces after I steep, so get double the enjoyment from this tea. I don’t tend to steep this more than once though because the 2nd tends to be lacking in the flavour department.
