Light your fire
Looking for a little get up and go? Try this tangy herbal tea, a hibiscus blend with traditional vitality-enhancers from all over the world. It has muira puama, an Amazonian tree said to boost the desire for love; schizandra berries, Chinese medicine’s stamina-enhancer; plus yohimbe bark, damiana and wild yam root. It’s a potent brew alright, but thankfully this medicine goes down easy.

Ingredients: Hibiscus, schizandra berry, damiana leaf, muira puama, oatstraw, wild yam root, yohimbe back, stevia.

Thanks to Janelle for a few bags of this tea! I remember thinking that I’d like it more than the “Her” version… but not really. It smells “herbally”, and a bit like hibiscus, and tastes like old woody hibiscus (also a bit fruity). I’m starting to wonder if all of the teas in baggies from Janelle have picked up this woody flavour, as it’s the same that was in the Nightcap tea… but I also have a cup of Coconut Grove here (baggie stored in the same place) and it’s fine. So maybe it’s the hibby. Bleh. Have two teabags of this one left… not sure what to do with them!

Great Canadian TTB

So I made this having no clue what was in this. Then I took a sip and gave the cup to my two friends to try too. I tasted flowers, another friend tasted citrus, and the last just made a “blech” face. Reading the ingreidients, I still have no idea what is in this blend but I do know it was an alright cup. Nothing to write home about but still something I am happy I tried. Also, surprisingly, the hibiscus is not bothersome in this blend so it has that going for it.
