From DAVIDsTEA

Never heard of yellow tea? That might be because this is the very first one we’ve ever carried. And this exceptional, top quality tea is so fresh, we rushed it to our shelves the moment it was plucked and dried. Grown in very small quantities, this is a special production just for us, from the tiny Junshan Tea Garden in Hunan province. It’s made in a similar fashion to green teas, with an extra step called “piled withering” said to help create super-healthy probiotics in the tea. Most importantly? It is absolutely delicious. Mellow and sweet, with a beautiful orange-tinged liquor, it’s best enjoyed over several steeps. Limited edition!

Liquor: A lovely golden yellow and clear colour.

Flavour: Refreshing, crisp and lingering flavour with the vegetal notes of a fine Chinese green tea.
