Blueberry and vanilla have been my favourite flavours since I was a small child, so I was cautiously excited about trying this. It was delicious!

It’s important to make sure you don’t get too much pineapple when you’re measuring it out or it adds an odd taste.

I only ordered 50g because I’d never tried it before, but next time I’ll get 100g.

2022 Sipdown 131/365!
Mastress Alita’s Sipdown Challenge May 2022: Tea flavoured like a favourite baked good

Picked this tea for my favourite baked good; I loooove blueberry muffins!

Got a 25g packet of this as a freebie with a recent order, and as an experiment, I brewed the entire package up into a 16(?) oz mug. It was delicious. Berries and cream, earthy, perfectly sweet, kind of like an adult juice. I loved it, and so did my son. Had a resteep that was delicious too. An expensive mug of tea but that’s ok!

Unfortunately this one seems a little thin tasting to me; however, I only had a small sample and it may not have been large enough for the amount of water I put it in. Not sure if I should order a full bag of it to give it a more fair try, or just stick with one of my other blueberry teas.

After trying this one, apparently elderberry doesn’t mesh well with my food sensitivities so I won’t be ordering this one.

Wow, this tea smells amazing. Warm, the flavor was decent, but I could tell it would be better cold, so I refrigerated it. Now it’s quite candy-like with a lovely, creamy vanilla. It’s all pretty fake and slightly thin, but I still enjoy it. It’s a heavy blend, so you don’t get a lot for your money, meaning I probably won’t buy it again, but it was fun! Sadly, one batch of it was wasted when I took it to work in my tumbler and the metal made the flavor really weird.

Mastress Alita

I got a work tumbler that has a “ceramic” inner lining and only has the metal as the outer lining. I love it! Now my tea doesn’t taste weird and it stays piping hot all through the work day.

AJRimmer

I have an old Teavana tumbler, and it’s absolutely perfect (large, great seal so I can throw it in my bag, etc) so I’ll feel sad replacing it, but if I can have all that plus a ceramic lining, I might be sold! Would you mind sharing a link to the one you have?

Tried this one out today and I think it’ll be one I could get more of for when I want herbal teas. Just a nice vanilla -ish berry blend.

This is the other tea that I had iced at our coworker goodbye party yesterday…

We made a pitcher of it, and while both pitchers wound up completely finished this was probably the one that went the slowest – what can I say, we were a group of bougy foodies who gravitated more towards the Negroni.

I like this one a lot iced though, so I am glad we made it. It’s fruity, but definitely on the sweeter and creamier side because of that thick vanilla flavouring. I found it refreshing, but not quite as much as the Negroni – probably because the sweetness of this tea tends to “hang” in your mouth a little bit more. I only drank one cup of this, whereas I had almost a pitcher of Negroni, and I don’t think I could have done much more of it because it’s so rich – but I deeply enjoyed the one cup that I did have and was happy to have it included.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.
