Still working on this sampler from the 10 dollar try me packs I purchased.
This has become my morning “go to” tea for those days when I don’t have time to steep a more delicate brew.
This is hardy, when I am half asleep still and hurrying around to get ready to take my daughter to work or run errands it is a no skills needed steep!
Even if I forget and over steep it – its always good – no excellent that is.
Such lovely flavors and can handle my blurred morning mind!
:)
Will absolutely re order this once my sampler is gone!

Meowkattack

Had my eye on this one but was wary of just another mango flavor tea. Good to know it’s rated highly.

Azzrian

Its really nice. The mango is not bitter and fuzes with the peach perfectly!

KeenTeaThyme

oooh, sounds yummy! :) :)

Azzrian

Its in your box :)

I love fresh mangoes and fresh peaches, but I have yet to find a Mango and/or peach tea that I love. For some reason these flavors keep coming up as alright but not great for me, regardless of the tea base or the brand.

There’s a pattern for most of these mango/peach teas that the overall Steepster grade tends to be higher than mine. Maybe I have an over expectation of these teas. I want the taste of a fresh fruit blended with the tea, but to me the flavor mimics more the taste of the dried fruit with a slight I don’t know…maybe hay? undertone. I can see how others would say this tea is good, there’s a nice balance between the tea base and the flavors. I just think it’s not a taste that I personally go for. I’m glad I got to sample this in my Fruit try me pack, but it won’t be making my reorder list.

Sil

this one was kinda meh for me as well. If i ever find a good mango tea i’ll hollar ‘cause now that i’ve found my grapefruit tea i’m on the hunt for a good mango one.

Alphakitty

I am a mango hound and Lupicia’s Ripe Mango Oolong is my favorite that I’ve tried so far, very juicy.

Sil

oooh i’ll need to check that out sometime

canadianadia

@Sil – nice to know I’m not the only one still searching for the perfect mango tea.
@Alphakitty – I’ve never tried lupicia teas, I’ll have to remember to check them out when I drink down some of my samples. Thanks for letting me know

Kittenna

Sil, if this whole Lupicia thing works out we may have to work out a joint order from there, as there are sooooo many teas I’m dying to try (and Ripe Mango Oolong is literally making me drool.)

Sil

Kittenna – for sure!
canadianadia – i went to australia for a month…i was in mango heaven.

canadianadia

Sil – oooh Australia…I went there went I was a teenager, and I loved it (taking a minute to bask in the memory). It’s summer there now too isn’t it? – I bet the mangoes were nice and juicy

Sil

i had mango everything..mango yogurt, mangos cut up, mango ice cream, mango desserts…soo good.

ICED…this IS REALLY nice! I like this one both HOT and COLD and can’t really decided which one I like better. They are both lovely! It might be even MORE velvety and creamy-smooth when cold. This is wonderful!

Cold brew of this one as a sip down and it’s not quite what I was hoping for. The peach is the dominant flavour, and I can barely get hints of mango out of this. It’s not a bad tasting tea, but its not mango peach. It’s peach. Added a bit of sweetener to see if that helped and it was much the same. Ah we’ll, still a decent enough tea.

This is soooo excellent cold. The flavor is lighter when it is cold steeped but it is super refreshing.

Sip down, yeah! Gahh, I need to get under 200 teas!

Made this iced! The mango here came out a little different, mixing strongly with the rose. The peach is a great refreshing aftertaste, working well iced. Actually, this is better iced, the refreshingness is pretty good!

Gotta get ready for brazilian jiu jitsu. Bleh, no gi tonight, so overly sweaty class!

While Della Terra has a lot of really unique and tasty dessert teas, I’ve found that I really adore their fruity blends the best. Their Mother of Pearl is SO amazing, I could drink it all the damn time and be happy. So of course in my second order I had to pick up an ounce of this, since it’s gotten such good reviews and I do love mango. I’ve also learned recently that I like peach teas as well, when they’re done right.

I cold brewed this overnight in the fridge, and wow! Not Mother of Pearl wow, but still really really tasty. The peach is the most prominent flavor to me, with mango coming in at the end of the sip. The peach isn’t overpowering though, and you can also taste the base and a bit of the floral taste from the rose petals. Iced it is just perfect, so fruity and juicy! I love when fruit teas do taste like they have some juice squeezed in, it amazes me that flavoring can have this effect yet it does. Mmm! Definitely a winner, and I think I’ll need to have this an MoP in my cupboard at all times. Maybe I’ll even mix them together…

Today is all about fruits and berries. I’m having this for my morning cuppa to get me ready for work, and then Southern Belle and Prarie Berry (both from DavidsTea) to get me through the day without going nuts.

This is like heaven. Damn it, Della Terra, you are killing me here! We’ve decided that when we get our tax refund, we’re going to do a huge Della Terra order. Yay! But the peachy mango goodness of this is awesome. It’s taking me back to the cruise. My wife’s favorite drink was a Kiss on the Lips, which involved peach and mango purée, so she will love this blend. I can see this being amazing iced.

I’ve got to stop starting out the day with the best teas, the rest of them just don’t measure up!

Made this one as a cold brew. Brewed for approximately 12 hours. It turned out wonderful and I am glad that I tried it as a cold brew.

To me, it tastes like peach iced tea. The black tea base is very mellow with notes of peach. There are lighter notes of mango. There s also a very light note of vanilla. The tea has a slight fruity sweetness.

Very refreshing cold brewed tea.

Sounds tasty! I have a little Mellow Mango Peach sitting around, so I might try out this way. :)

Yum! I made this this morning and then fell asleep after F1 qualifying. That’s okay because it was awesome hot, but I figured it’d be even better cold.

Hot, it was excellent. Super tasty fruit flavors, a little touch of floral from the petals. If I wasn’t so sleepy I would have kept sipping.

Cold, I start to taste vanilla or something giving it a creaminess almost. I love how much it smells like peaches. The fruit flavor just lingers after you drink it either hot or cold.

I wish I had gotten this one waaaaay earlier. I picked it in the try me pack I won, so thanks Della Terra Teas!

Oooh also I just bought a TON of lip balm making stuff…they are all going to be related to the teas I love. I’m gonna see if infusing oil with tea does anything really for flavor but I got a ton of cool flavoring oils anyway so they can still be like teas. I have enough stuff to make 300 tubes! (Though I only bought 100 tubes and seals for the time being lol) So I will sell those eventually once I get everything.

Sil

Thate sounds neat, let us know how they turn out…the lip balm that is

Della Terra Teas

Amanda, thank you so much for the amazing review. Please, let us know when you have the lip balm available. Would love to get some!

Daisy Chubb

Oh too cool! Where did you get the stuff Amanda?

momo

I will be sure to let you know!

@DaisyChubb – I bought the stuff from a bunch of sites. The stuff for the base and a couple colorants are coming from Brambleberry.com, the packaging and flavor oils are coming from rusticescentuals.com, and then I bought a few more flavors and a sweetener oil off someone local on Bonanza. Then I already have decent olive oil so I’m going to use that, and I’m hoping to pick up castor oil and some liquid vitamin e at a drug store.

Amanda

That sounds like an awesome idea. Please do keep us updated, i would definitely buy one or two or three from you :)
