My tummy is being very rude today so I’m opting for teas with mint. This is one I’ve tried before, though apparently haven’t logged?

Anyhoo, it’s crisp and refreshing with a twist of chocolate. A nice treat – and nice on my tummy. I’ll write a better note next time!

very nice! the chocolate gives me warmth, the mint gives me cool… it’s a very smooth blend with a natural sweetness. this came along with my feast of tea treasures from ShortSorceress. this is very nice to drink while looking at the rain and the clouds that don’t look like they’re going anywhere through the window.

Ah, over on campus, the clouds are dispersing. More rain, please!

Sipdown tea #7! Thanks yappychappy!!
I love, love chocolate mint teas. This one smells delicious! The flavor is creamy, minty, and chocolatey. The chocolate is very creamy and not fake tasting. The flavors are in perfect balance. I’m enjoying this cup :]

Ahh! All the chocolate bits in mine melted on their voyage through the mail. Still managed to get the melted bits into the teapot though.

I’m still feeling sick, so I wanted to try this one first of my newest try-me pack from Della Terra. The smell was really alluring – like a perfect balance of minty and chocolate – and the dry tea itself is very pretty (I love green and black together). Tasting it, it’s definitely a sweeter tea – the initial taste is more of a lightly chocolate-flavored black tea, but then the aftercool from the mint hits at the same time as the richer chocolate taste does, and it’s perfect. Definitely a refreshing sort of tea.

I have mint on the brain. Yesterday I was at the store and couldn’t resist picking up a chocolate mint plant. While it will be in its own container it will be nestled up against my orange, sweet, and pineapple mints. I’m already looking forward to all of the minty goodness I’ll be eating and drinking this summer!

Since I was thinking about chocolate mint I decided to make myself a cup of this tea. It’s really good. Lots and lots of peppermint followed by a bit of chocolate. I can’t taste the base tea, but I don’t mind since the mint and chocolate flavors are so good.

I just drank this one too and rated it the same. A little more mintiness and I would’ve given it a 100! :)

Your mint plants sound lovely. I’m hoping to grow some next year once our home extension is done. I’m thinking of growing them in containers so I can keep them under control, but I’m not sure what size container is optimal. What do you use?

Tea break! I’ve been trying to force myself to use CLEANING THINGS as a coping skill for my stress and anxiety rather than avoidance and misery… it’s going okay so far, but I’m only an hour in. (Which is totally time for a break!)

I haven’t had this tea in a long time, and it’s one of my faves.

Yes – thanks for the reminder! This is going back on the shopping list!

Anti V-Day Treat still beats this one for me, but it is YUM.

One of my FAVORITE dessert teas! As posted in my testimony for DellaTerra and the review on their website, this tea allows me to “hang glide down the Andes Mountains”! I love this tea and when I have it for dessert I add 2 teaspoons of sugar into it. (which may be TOO sweet for some people, but I use this tea just like an after dinner dessert so I add a lot of sugar!) :) I love DellaTerra and this is one of my personal favorites, along with a couple others that I’ll post tasting notes for soon.

I knew going in that I wasn’t going to like this, but JackieT was generous enough to send me a sample so I thought I should at least give it a try.
I’m not a mint person, I don’t like chocolate mint candies, I don’t like after dinner mints, I try to find toothpaste that’s the least minty as possible.
I’m not going to give this one a number, I’m not a fair judge. I will say that it’s actually not as bad as I thought it would be. There is a lot of chocolate, not so much mint in this blend. That’s good news for me.

Thanks Cavocorax for this one.

This is really reminding me of David’s Santa’s Secret. There is something different though. I’m thinking it’s ever so slightly creamier? I could be wrong. I’d have to try them side-by-side to know for sure.

It’s not too chocolatey, which is lovely. And the mint really comes out in the end. I’m enjoying my cup of this one.
