I finally got around to trying this. It was part of my black Friday order.

This smells very rooibos like in the leaves. Rooibos can be so hit or miss, I can smell the ginger mostly & kind of some fruityness.
Once steeped this smells bakey & cookie like, and mostly like ginger. This is really yummy. I don’t really think it tastes like a ginger snap. I expect a ginger snap to he spicy, gingeree & cinnamonee. I remember sucking on ginger snaps until they would melt. Yum.

Although not at all what I expected this is really delicious & cookie like, just not a ginger snap.

The sent is definitely spicy. It’s doesn’t really taste like a ginger snap, but a good blend of spices and tropical fruit.

Unlike many of the other reviewers, I did not expect a lot of ginger in this (despite my love for the stuff)—my thought was gingerbread cookies, and to me, that’s very much what this tastes like. There are interesting cinnamon and even nutmeg-y notes coming out in this one.

Overall, very good though I don’t think it is one of my favourites. Perhaps I need a crackling fire before me to really enjoy it! If you like gingerbread cookies, though, you’re going to love this.

I’m a rooibos fan from the one’s I’ve tried. Grabbed a sample pack of this from my last Della Terra order to see if I can handle ginger in my teas.

Smell is hard to define. I smell the rooibos and some spices but I just can’t make anything out for sure.

First sip is pleasant! I like whatever the combo of flavors brings. I get a “zing” from it. No bitterness. Hint of citrus? maybe that’s the mango or pineapple. It’s a happy cup for me. Uplifting.

Thank you Satsuma for sending me a sample of this tea. I am always on the look out for tasty caffeine free options and this one isn’t bad. Granted, I didn’t really get to drink it until it cooled significantly because I was cooking, nonetheless, it is a nice smooth ginger flavor. There is no burn here but rather a slightly sweet, slightly spiced cup of tea. Very nice.
