I had this one last night before bed, and adding milk took it to the next level of creamy deliciousness. It was like an egg-less nog, without that heaviness that comes from the eggs and cream.

(Side note: “nog” is such a fun word! Maybe that was part of the appeal.)

I definitely prefer this to actual eggnog (cause I’d rather eat my empty calories than drink them!) It’s very soothing with a mellow spice level, and the rooibos taste is barely present. I think this would also make a great base for a hot toddy with a dash of rum.

It is delicious, and I never thought about having it with rum.

What a great way to end my day started with an amazing Verdant black tea which was followed by lots of meh tea. Tastes amazing. Unfortunately don’t have muc of it which forced me to place an immediate order. Flavored rooibos for night time is amazing.

Dang it! I thought about that one in the order I placed Saturday, but I didn’t get it. Shopping list!

I think this is tea #9 of my iceday sipdown (I want another one tomorrow)

I don’t know what happened but all I got was bitterness, never experienced that with a rooibos before. must be what I ate before it.
it smells so yummy though, creamy delicious goodness

ETA: brewed up what was left & it was much better, slightly creamy, a touch of spice. Really I wish it was as creamy as it smelt. But over all very good.

Drinking this in my new DAVIDsTEA mug (“Eggnog Snowfall”), thought these two would go well with each other.

Winter Nog is very tasty and very fun to drink. I do love sprinkles in my teas :). Since I had a sip of eggnog this morning I think I actually do detect some noggy-ness in this. In any case, it’s sweet and creamy and perfect to snuggle up on the couch with.

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday. :)

I don’t think that this tea has a thick enough mouthfeel to taste like egg nog. However, I still really enjoy this tea, with its Christmas spices and sweetness.
Maybe I will try it as a latte and see what happens.

Creamy, sweet and spicy…
More caramel than egg nog,
But I absolutley adore it. ♥♡♥

Towards the end of the cup (as it cools a bit)
I get the egg nog & some rich brown sugar

Crow Kettle was so very generous in sending some lovely sounding teas for me to try. I truly appreciate it! thanks so much This was one of the teas from DT that I wanted to try. I hope to try them all, really, but it seems like they get rid of some of their blends sometimes. That is why their try me packs and frequent sales come in handy! This sounds delicious and it is! I love the spices… they do seem like the exact spices that would be in egg nog. This doesn’t actually taste like the eggy part of egg nog, but somehow there doesn’t seem to be another tea like this out there. Creamy, sweet & spicy! And DT’s rooibos base is very good. I love the little snowflakes! I drank this one in the hopes that the weather will start looking better out there!

Thanks to wheezybee for sending this to me, I promise I didn’t forget about your teas, I’ve been saving a bunch of them for cooler weather.

I made this last night right before bed and managed to fall asleep with only taking a sip of it, it was finished off first thing this morning. This isn’t really a summertime drink, but it is getting cooler, so was pretty appropriate today. I liked the lightly spiced flavor, it goes rather well with the rooibos. Although the creamy flavor just wasn’t quite enough to make me think this tasted like eggnog.

I did enjoy this one enough to order a try me size if it is available again this winter, even if I don’t like sprinkles in my tea.

I enjoyed a cup of this last night. It was my first experience with Della Terra Teas and I was excited to try one of their blends after reading so many positive reviews. I like eggnog and we always have some in our fridge every holiday season. Winter Nog appeals to me because it is one that I can enjoy at night right before bed, and what is more comforting that a cup of warm eggnog-flavored tea on a cold night!? I found that this tea was a little bland without sweetener added, and although it was smooth to begin with, adding just a little bit of milk made it even smoother. It unfortunately has that strange aftertaste that all rooibos blends seem to have, although it was a lot less than others and it seemed to go away as the cup cooled. The finish of this tea was almost like smooth, sweet caramel. A very nice tea, and perfect for a winter evening! Thanks, Cavocorax!

-Dry blend has red rooibos with white snowflake sprinkles.
-Dry blend smells of sweet eggnog with the rooibos base. Tea liquor aroma is lightly of eggnog.
-Tea liquor is a clear medium brown color.
-Mellow spice flavor with a smooth caramel-like finish.
-Best with the smallest amount of milk and sweetener.
-Very good tea. Softly flavored and reminiscent of creamy eggnog.

Glad you enjoy it! Those little snowflakes are pretty adorable.

Yum yum, this is the first tea I grabbed from my order that came yesterday. I wouldn’t say this is super eggnog but its a sweet lightly spiced tea. But jeeze. It good: )
