Sipdown! 285/365!

Should have used a finum filter for the last of this tea – it was a bit astringent for this final cup. Not too bad, though.

Oh my goodness, this tea smells absolutely divine when brewing! I didn’t notice I was sniffing my tea tumbler until the person I was meeting with gave me a quizzical look, wondering what I was doing. The smell is spot on for roasted apple.

The taste is like a grown up, unsweetened apple juice or cider. I actually prefer this over cider or juice since those can get so sweet. I’m bummed that I used up my whole sample from Suziqzer in this brewing, but I’ll be sure to savor it.

This one is nice cold steeped as well… Hubby loves it that way.

Thank you Janelle for a sample of this! Sometimes Della Terra’s apple teas are hit or miss. This one is a HIT. I think they got rid of the apple flavor or whatever I really didn’t like. I’m glad they didn’t get rid of any that I DO like, since they are some of my favorite apple teas! This is a buttery sencha with a nice apple & cinnamon taste. For some reason it was tasting like strawberry to me though, especially as it cooled. I like this one, but there are a couple other companies who have a better version of this blend.

I agree with the hit or miss part and the fact that this is a really good apple tea, at last!

TeaBrat

hmm, may need to try it!

This tea has a very subtle green tea taste and prominent fresh apple flavor. It’s a nice change from the apple teas that always seem to have spices or other fruit mixed in but only hints of apple.

Preparation

Suziqzer

I agree! Almost every apple tea has spice, & I love spice, but it is nice to have one without.
