This is so yummy. I don’t think I’ve ever had monkey bread before, but I just looked it up and it looks delicious and totally something I want in my mouth.

This tea was very caramel flavored, but it did not taste overpowering or artificial. There was no need for sweetener. I liked that chai was infused in the yogurt bits – that caused the chai to be a nice extra flavor instead of overwhelming the tea. The yogurt made it creamy.

Very yummy. Perfect fall tea.

I have a pouch of this from when it was called Monkey Bread, and a pouch of Cinnamon Bun. Today I’m drinking the older of the two — the Monkey Bread. I added 1 tsp of leaf to boiling water, and gave it approximately 3.5 minutes. It brews up a fairly light golden brown, and so I went without additions. I’m glad of that, because I think milk and sugar might have obscured the wonderful yoghurty notes I’m getting from this. That alone puts me in mind of a cinnamon bun drizzled with yoghurt/cream cheese icing. The fact that there’s a big smack of cinnamon helps too, obviously! Cinnamon is the main flavour, as would be expected, but there’s a good dose of chai-style spicing, too. It’s not too heavy, though — it reminds me of the spice you might find in a banana loaf cake, or something like that. Not the main flavour, nor intended to be, but a firm background note. With the chai, icing, and cinnamon notes taken together, this is like cake and tea complete! A seriously good dessert replacement! I’m glad I have two sample pouches now — I can save one for autumn/winter, when this will definitely come into its own!

Wow oh wow this smells so good, sweet and cinnamony and gooey. Steeped up the smell is strong enought that I can smell it while it was on my bedside table and I was sitting in bed. It really does smell like ooey gooey cinnamon buns. The kind with extra filling.

Sipping it, it really tastes like liquified cinnamon rolls. Sweet, common goodness. I must admit I was skeptical. “What’s the difference between cinnamon tea and cinnamon roll tea?” But somehow there’s something else to this tea that makes it more than just a cinnamon tea. It really tastes like biting in to the best part of a common roll: the dead center. Lots of cinnamon and brown sugar, a little glaze, and the bread that’s just a touch above doughy.

A perfect cup to end the night, this is going on my to buy list.

I have never been a huge cinnamon fan. But, like everyone else, I do enjoy cinnamon buns from time to time. This is the perfect cinnamon tea for me-not too overpowering, it’s just right. (: Tastes exactly like a cinnamon bun, even with a hint of icing flavor.
After years and years of not being able to eat desserts in peace, I’m soo excited to have found teas that taste exactly like the desserts I have been missing out on through the years! _

Thank you for this one Tea Sipper! It’s a chai evening for me. I’m a huge fan of this tea. It’s a great dessert tea. It really does taste like a cinnamon bun. Buttery, cinnamon and sweetness for icing. There’s a underlying taste of chai once you get past all of the gooey goodness.

Thank you Kat_Maria for a sample of this tea! After lunch today, I was craving something sweet, so I made this tea. It’s definitely cinnamon-packed right from the beginning of the sip. It then leaves with a maple flavor that kind of sits in my mouth afterward. And it smells so wonderfully cinnamon-y that I kind of wish it were a candle. I usually don’t like dessert teas as much because I find prefer more subtle sweetness, but I had a major sweet tooth moment today and this tea helped quench that!

Yeah, dessert teas are good to have instead of sweets :) I would even venture to say that in my case, besides getting a job where I have to be on my legs for hours and move a lot, they are what helped me in the past six months to finally hit my ideal weight!
