Earl Grey is the most popular flavored tea. This classic has been known for ages as a black tea, and green tea lovers have long waited for the Sencha variation. But now, your waiting has come to an end. We introduced this blend very successfully some years ago. Our exquisite Sencha base was flavored with high-quality bergamot flavor and richly decorated with lemon peel and orange blossoms. Earl Grey friends can now finally discover green tea – and vice versa.

Ingredients: green tea (83%), lemon peel, orange blossoms, natural flavoring type bergamot.

Serving Size: 1 heaped tsp./6oz serving

Brew Temp: 176 to 194 degree F

Brew Time: 2 to 3 Minutes

I forgot how pleasant this tea was. There’s so much extra citrus in the blend that you definitely get hints of lemon and such, but the overall flavor never loses sight of the bergamot. It’s a really nice pairing between the green tea and the bergamot, too; neither overpowers the other. An Earl Grey green can be so nice because you don’t have to overload on the bergamot for it to be the primary flavor, so there’s less chance of getting that bitterness or astringency that can come from too much bergamot. I mean really citrus and green tea go so well together anyway, it’s a natural extension to bergamot. Yum.

This is a great green Earl Grey. The flavors are light enough to meld well with the delicate taste of the green tea. The overall cup is crisp and delicate, but still very pleasantly Earl Grey! One of the best green Earl Grey teas I’ve tried yet.

Smells like a gentle lemon/orange green tea mix. It’s a more gentle flavored green, too. I can taste the green tea first then the orange then the lemon jumps thru and then a floral taste and then back to green tea. This is a very satisfying but not overly done (or loud) green!

Thanks JoeCool (Nichole) for sharing some of this. I’m not normally an Earl Grey fan so I’m not rating it (my palate is too inexperienced). But this smells nice and tastes like your typical Earl Grey. Heavy on the bergamot. Watery fruit loops every time. (taste)

I used to love Earl Grey, but since I no longer take sugar in my tea the bitterness often ruins the flavor. Wild Grey is the perfect solution—the delicious Earl Grey tea flavor and smell without the bite.

Wild Grey smells strongly of bergamot, and that’s the most prominent flavor too. I used one tablespoon in a liter of water (I always brew my tea in a pot and drink cup after cup) and after 2 minutes the tea was light and delicate, after 5 it was stronger and no longer so delicate—just a matter of taste. Even when it looked weak (very light green) it was plenty strong for me.

This is a great tea if you want green tea with a bit of a kick.
