From Green Tea Guru

We sourced these cakes from Gong Fu Tea House in Hong Kong on our 2016 tea trip. We tried many teas here. We picked this tea cake as it has the smoothest texture of any raw puerh we have ever tried. being 2005 it in no way resembles the smoothness of a fully aged raw, it is smoothness of a different calabre. The texture is slippery as if it falls down the throat. The taste is typically HK in nature, deep, dark and savoury with layered flavour. The material originates from Nannuo Mountain area. We’ve priced this cake fairly, if you were to walk into his tea shop you would be paying the same price as here! HK dry storage helps to push the tea down the track in terms of aging as you can tell by the browning of the leaves, sacrificing a lot of the cakes innitial personality for interesting aged tastes. – See more at: http://www.greenteaguru.co.uk/shop/raw-pu-erh/2005-hk-dry-stored-yun-hai-888-raw-puerh-cake/#sthash.zmdZZLxQ.dpuf
