Description

A gorgeous hand rolled tea with an exquisite bouquet, from the Organic farm of Jun Chiyabari located in the eastern Himalayas of Nepal. It is easy to fall in love with this tea!

DRY TEA: Beautiful, well-rolled, with profusion of silver tips that bear aroma of caramel, spice, molasses, and orchids.

INFUSION: A uniform rich chocolate brown with a nose of fine muscatel and almonds. (We try not to but it is almost impossible to not compare it with Darjeeling.)

CUP: Dark amber, almost ruby liquor with a lovely bouquet of muscatel grapeyness. It has a lovely sparkly quality to both the look and taste. It comes alive on the palate with a notes of half-ripe mango, nuts (almond) and red grapes. It has rich and well-balanced complexity. An unusual but nice nutty aftertaste.
