A really nice blackcurrant. Drinking this today has reminded me that NZ’s currants taste differently than currants from North America, which I haven’t had in nearly a decade. I bet this would be great iced as well.

I enjoyed a cup or two of this black current tea. It reminded me of the Harney’s pomegranate oolong considerably but seemed fuller bodied than the pomegranate oolong, but it could have been the amount of tea used was different. This is a very pleansant tea for me and I will definitely buy more. Its not earthshattering in anyway, just pleasant and very drinkable. It seems it would be nice to blend in with other black teas to make a wonderful iced tea also.

This tea tastes a bit sweet to me. The first time I tried it I though it was too punchy and sweet. I am typically a black tea drinker and not a fan of fruit teas, so maybe this isn’t for me. I didn’t find anything offensive about it. Its just not my cup of tea. I preferred it far more blended with a Ceylon or Keemun, which milded up the fruitiness just a little bit.
