Love this tea! Has a sweet and tasty cinnamon flavor. To me, tastes like fall or christmas! _ Perfect for a cold day, and also refreshing. Cinnamon is said to be good as an disinflamatory. My mom used to make me a cinnamon tea for stomach pain, or cramps. This tea in particular has an awesome taste!!

I had forgotten how much I liked this one. I LOVE anything cinnamon and I can save money by not adding any honey or sugar to it ;)

I like it. It makes me think of the Atomic Fireballs that I love! Usually I add milk to my spiced teas, but it’s not necessary for this one. It’s probably unnecessary to sweeten it too, but I add a bit of sugar anyway.

This is my favorite tea on Earth. Granted, I love anything cinnamon and slightly spicy, and this is the perfect example. Needs nothing but a splash of milk for the best taste. Somehow, Hot Cinnamon Spice is slightly sweet all on it’s own, so it really needs no sweeteners, but I sometimes add a touch of honey when my sweet tooth is raging. It’s the perfect tea when I’m craving dessert, but don’t want the calories.

Down and dirty, this tastes just like a Red Hots candy. Another comparison would be cinnamon Altoids, but stronger. If you HATE cinnamon this is your personal kryptonite. If you merely like or tolerate the stuff then proceed with caution. This was my first experience with Harney and Sons, and I found this stuff above average for a bag tea, though admittedly it is tough to get an accurate read on the tea base on this because of the strength of the cinnamon. A decent anytime tea, and a pretty good holiday tea, also.

Note: This review is only for the sachets. I have not had the loose leaf version of this tea (though I would like to).

This tea is pretty good. It is very spicey, which I actually really like. It isn’t as flavorful as I would like – you definitely have to use filtered water or else you can taste the minerals in the water more than the tea. Still a good tea, but I would like to try it loose leaf to get it a little more flavorful.

At first I didn’t think I liked this, but as the weather changes I’m finding the strong cinnamon flavor to be comforting, like cider. Fall-y. I do get some clove, but yeah, cinnamon all the way. Great fpr sickies too.

Harney & Sons – Hot Cinnamon Spice (black). Sachet. Appearance: short broken black leaves, with large pieces of cinammon and orange zest. Liquor: dark reddish brown (standard tea color) with moderate cinammon/spice sediment. Smell: heavy cinammon. Taste: potent cinammon flavor tends to overwhelm the black tea flavor. Nice for the variety, but a little too much cinammon. The spices do eliminate the need for sugar though, which is nice. 5/10.

Found this tea in a local store and was blown away by how good it was. The cinnamon is right up front, to smack you in the face, so to speak, but it has a nice sweet aftertaste that I was blown away by.

Just drink it straight, no milk/cream or sugar needed!

To me, this tea has a lot of spicy cinnamon flavor (almost similar to the red hot candy) and some clove in it. The clove gives it just enough sweetness without being overwhelming. The orange peel adds a little bit of zing to it as well. I would consider this a medium- to heavy-bodied tea. It’s perfect to drink to warm up on a cool day in the fall or winter.
