From Harney & Sons

Caffeine Free Chamomile and Lavender Yellow & Blue is an artful blend of chamomile, lavender, and cornflowers. Every breath is fragrant and fresh. The lavender infusion lends a floral, slightly sweet, and elegant aroma at once soothing and pairs beautifully with calming chamomile and sweet, spicy cornflowers. The yellow, lavender, and blue petals are indisputably colorful. The tea sings of spring with scent and taste like freshly picked posies from a flower field.

This tea has a soothing chamomile sweetness accented by other flowers. The blend is very nice but not terribly impressive. More exotic flowers that can compete with the chamomile would be an improvement. The tea tastes shy and comforting with a lasting presence after being swallowed. One is reminded of corn, wheat and somehow dry hay. Overall this chamomile behaves exactly as it is supposed to with few surprises.

This tea is nothing special, and I don’t know why but it tastes powdery to me. I can barely taste the lavender, so this tea is very one note. I can’t write much about it because it’s pretty much like any other chamomile tea. I hate to say it, but I almost think that Tazo’s Calm is better than this. :(

This tea is very pretty and fragrant. It can be quite common as it is mainly composed of chamomile and lavender, but somehow the two together makes a very pleasant aroma that contains the two, yet very different compared to each of them separately. The corn flower leaves actually add accent to the color of dry leaves rather than the lavender. The product was very fresh, the scent was pretty and full bodied, and the taste was comforting and satisfying. When you open the product you can see that the tea satchels are fully filled. Brew about 1 minute the first time, leave out the bag and a little bit longer second and third time around. For me it was okay to brew up to 3-4 times. Quality wise, this tea is great. However, I suspect the satchels are made of nylon, and even though this is a very pretty tisane blend that is healthy, I didn’t give it a full 100 because I don’t think it takes extra creativity to come up with this blend. Chamomile + lavender blend is something I made often at home on my own using the stock tea I had at home. Purchasing of this product was more for convenience rather than trying something new or to add to collection.

Blegh – I’m not against lavender in teas/tisanes, but this tastes stale or otherwise “off” somehow. I think I’d prefer straight chamomile, sadly.

One of my favorites! Great for a stressful day. Smells divine and tastes oh-so-good! I just leave the bag in and let it mellow.

A splendid chamomile tea, pleases even my husband who isn’t even all that fond of chamomile, and myself with a strong aversion to lavender! The tastes blend well. A perfect sicktime or sleepytime tea, great for a relaxing rainy or snowy day. Perfect when you need it.

A very soothing, pleasant tea. I plan to purchase some once I’ve run out of my current supply of chamomile, as I like this better.

This is my regular, before bedtime tea. The chamomile is exquisite and the lavender is of high quality and vibrant purple color. I suspect that the addition of cornflower to this blend is what really provides the magic — this is by far, my favorite tea on earth.
