Introducing our first and very own Signature Oolong. This tea is a high quality green Oolong Tea produced from the Quingxin cultivar that has been roasted multiple times over an extended period to simulate an aged tea with outstanding results.
The tea is gently heated to our own roasting profile after which it is allowed to rest in a controlled environment. The process is then repeated until the desired characteristics are achieved. In total the roasting process is repeated up to 12 times over a 3 month period.
Roasting transforms the tea leaves making them much darker and produces an extremely clear sparkling liquor that has an aged smokiness with notes of liquorice and fennel. The tea has great staying power and can be infused up to 7 times.
