This cake is made by using early Spring Mengsa materials. The naturely organic tea leaves are plucked, panned and kneaded, sun-dried in an open field, and then steamed, finally compressed into a fine tea cake all by hand.

The taste blends light floral fragrance with some sweetness and malty aroma in the background, a great value at current price.

This Mengsa cake is a really pleasant “drink it now” cake. The flavors are something like anise, malt, and the metallic taste of high-mineral-content water. The bittersweetness remains in the mouth in both senses of “remains”: it doesn’t progress to the throat, and the flavors linger.
