Kiani Tea Advent Calendar 2021 – Day 5
Glitter again? Not really a fan of this gimmick, the glitter is always so messy and gets everywhere! XD
Anyway, this is not a favorite for me. Mostly a lot of rose, with a little cacao in the background. It’s a natural rose, so not perfumey, but it’s still a bit much for me. There’s a slight creaminess to it, and a hint of bitter.
Interesting to try, but not for me.

The other rose tea from today! Similar to the English Breakfast on the first day, this tisane was coated heavily in stunning gold luster dust. It was just very pretty to look at, though I hope we don’t see too much more luster dust blends in the advent because at a certain point it will get a bit gimmicky…
The actual herbal blends is really enjoyable though. It’s simple, but the notes of fresh rose and cacao are pleasantly smooth with a bit of decadence to it while still feeling light and soothing. The cacao was definitely the stronger of the two flavours, in my opinion but it’s also a very approachable rose. I don’t think it’s so strong or perfumey to be a turn off to people who are uncomfortable with floral teas.

When I think about drinking glitter, I can’t help but imagine gilded intestines.
Sorry if I’ve ruined anything. I don’t know when to keep my thoughts to myself. If it means anything, this sounds like my kind of tea.
Yeah honestly, I should pay more attention to whether the glitter eventually comes out the other end… XD
