From Leafy Green

Yan Yun is a flavor profile typically used to describe Wu Yi rock tea. It’s described as “Lingering aromatics, sweet sensation on the side of the mouth” This tea is made from a Taiwanese Oolong, our tea farmer used the traditional method prepping Yancha to prepare this tea. Giving it a mouth watering and a vaporous persistent quality.

Due to the small yield of this tea, we only receive up to 2 KG of this tea per season (not guaranteed). The process of producing this tea in a traditional method is long, and extremely labor intensive, we hope when you taste this tea, you can find a moment to slow down and truly appreciate each and every drop.

I love this tea. I tend to brew it gong fu style. It makes for a great treat. It is a great example of a well roasted Oolong with a nice twist. I received this by accident and completely am in love with it. It was a joyous mistake. The mouthfeel and aromatics are just amazing.
