For a Lipton tea, I am impressed. The flavor is spot on for a quick chai. It’s rather spicy on the first brew and then after a few brews it starts to get a metallic taste. That’s when I know to throw it out.
“I read my past reviews of this tea because I remember thinking that it was a decent chai. Not the best, but good to have when I want a quick chai. This morning, however, I brewed it the way I like...” Read full tasting note

This is the best tea ive ever had and im so mad that Lipton discontinued it. For being so popular and winter coming im shocked they took this off the shelves. Ive had to pay so much just to get this tea and now i cant find it anywhere except for $20 a Box< which i will pay cause its that good. We need to start a Petition to bring this tea back. Immediately!!!!!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Spices
The only reason I have this is because I found it in a salvage grocery store for $1.45. The box was squished, but it wasn’t expired.
As far as bagged chais go, this isn’t the worst one I’ve tried. It also isn’t the best, of course. Cinnamon is the most dominant spice I can taste, while the other spices just sort of blend together in the background. I can hardly taste the base at all.
If you end up with this tea for whatever reason, you might wanna double-up on the amount of bags you’d normally use. It’s really weak and they were stingy with the spice. Or, you know, you could just skip it altogether.
I normally only like teas that I don’t have to add anything to. This one is not so great on it’s own. Mostly taste the spice but not the black tea. BUT if you make a latte out if it, it’s awesome!! I mix in some raw honey and sugar and then froth some milk in my french press. Excellent desert tea.
Even though Lipton isn’t usually a favorite of mine because it can deliver a plain cup of tea, this one was okay. I was pleasantly surprised about the cinnamon— it’s common for some blends to over do it. But this one was good. I may not buy it again, but I’m happy with the box I bought.
