Sipdown! (24 | 24)

Tried this again with a shorter steep to try to lessen the grassy sencha flavor and let the flavoring shine more.

Nope, still tastes like a boring cup of dry grass with a tiny hint of red fruit. So the rest of the bag is getting dumped. At least it was inexpensive!

Flavors: Dry Grass, Grassy, Red Fruits

Hah, another tea from postcrossing. I recieved it bit other way, as I have received it from Russia, even this is Finnish company.

This tea certainly wasn’t sold three years back when I was there, otherwise I will buy whole box – because of wonderful tea bags.

The base tea was meh, and taste wasn’t great either. There was little tartness of lingonberries and mostly of grapefruit, but that’s all of taste. It was very weak in flavour, unfortunately. There weren’t any funky notes, but more I would really enjoy if it is more juicy in terms of flavour. It was rather drying.

It’s sad, that my favourite tea brand (as of tea bags) had so boring tea. And natually, this is sipdown (no. 3 this year)
