From Orange Pekoe

Our Darjeeling Barnesbeg is a first flush Darjeeling of superior quality.

First Flush occurs in March and April typically produces greener leaves and light, floral teas.

In appearance Darjeeling Barnesbeg has large bright green leaves and produces an elegant, soft cup of tea.

This tea is best enjoyed black.

This first flush Darjeeling is made in the lighter style of production. I disagree with what Orange Pekoe states, that the lighter colored leaves is a result of the time of the year, because it is actually a result of how long the leaves are left to oxidize for.

It is a good soft tea though. Subtle flavors of mango and other tropical fruits, with a backing of green bell peppers, and some slight peppercorns.

A very green cup of tea, but still worth drinking.
