From Our Home Tea

Ginger peach tea has become an American classic. This tea melds a sweet depth of summer ripe peaches with apricots in a fine Ceylon black tea base. This is good hot or cold.

Ginger is indigenous to southern China, from where it spread to the Spice Islands and other parts of Asia. Chinese herbalist continue to call upon ginger to expel cold and restore depleted yang. In the Middle Ages, ginger was brought to Europe by the Arabic traders. At the time, it was primarily used for ginger tea, said to be effective in fighting colds and flu. During Victorian times, shakers of ginger were as common a table accessory as salt and pepper. Today, India is the largest producer of this yang-inducing herb

The color is brilliant! Reddish-Brown! Lovely! The scent is out of this world! Peachy and a tinge of ginger! You can still taste the black tea but also the flavors! This is a nice tea! A Delight!

I’m glad to hear that this one is better than Adagio’s. I HATED Adagio’s Black Ginger Peach. Blech!
