Mineral Spring was a mainstream tea garden that was abandoned in the early fifties. It is revived now as a Small Farmers tea Project in partnership with TPI Selimbongis. Mineral Spring is the first small farmers certified organic and fair trade labeled Darjeeling Tea which is produced by non-plantation farmers as a poly culture.

It is more astringent than the Assams I usually drink, which may be why I lean more toward those, but this has a great taste while drinking it and a lovely aftertaste, too.
