2013 MGH 1303 MangShui Big Tree Green Pu-erh Tea Cake 357g (美国号1303漭水乔木青饼)
This tea cake is made by using early Spring arbor materials from Mangshui, Lincang area. It’s one of the best Lincang teas.
You can taste the difference now and in the furture when the tea is aged. It offers better taste profile, higher nutritional value with no chemical additive, the big tree/Qiaomu/Arbor material IS the essence of a premium tea. The traditional tried and true processing method was adopted in making of these MGH teas.

Why MGH premium teas could not be offered at a discount?
As you know, the ancient tea trees are rare properties, there are just a fews at a given tea mountain in Yunnan.
The ancient tea leaves are sought after by everyone, and the total amount you can harvest each season is a constant, if not protected properly these ancient tea trees would be exhausted. Recently some Chinese have become super rich whom would sweep out every single ancient tea leave.

The tea made from these ancient tea trees is done mostly by hand by following an old tradition, so it ages better and faster.
If you like a blend tea, the pure single mountain tea serves as the best raw material base. You can also do your own blending.
