From PureAromaTea

Classic Assam teas such as this, are rich and full-flavoured with plenty of colour and a distinct malty character, with some sweetness. These teas are ideal for drinking with milk at breakfast time and throughout the day and have enough flavour and richness to accompany food well, even a classic full English breakfast.

To brew, put one heaped tea spoon full per person in a pot and add fresh, boiling water. Infuse for 1-2 mins (please infuse for at least a full minute if possible – this is very good tea and deserves it!). This tea is best enjoyed with a little milk, and sugar if desired. It is suitable for drinking at any time of day, particularly breakfast.

Dug this out of the cupboard this morning for my black tea to take to work. This one isn’t half bad and in a pinch would work as a decent every day tea…if i didn’t already have a few favourites in that department. That being said though, it’s still a lovely tea and didn’t have any sort of astringency to deal with.

Sipdown #2 of my Monday Sipdown Extravaganza!
This is another one from Sil. It’s also a very bold & brisk black tea, & although this one is chopped up as well, it’s in bigger pieces that are more recognizable as ‘tea’. Malty, Oaky, & bold.
