From Rare Tea Cellar

Freak of Nature Oolong
Rare Tea Cellar is limited to 100lbs annually of this rare high mountain oolong. The secret to this rare tea is that it only occurs when the temperature changes from 80 degrees to 20 degrees then back to 80 degrees within a short amount of time. This temperature change creates the outrageous buttery shortbread component to the tea. Like the ice-wine of the tea world. Limited supply available around the world.

Very High in Antioxidants

Origin: Wuyi Mountains, China

This is the first Quanzhou milk oolong I’ve had in awhile. I’ve always been fascinated by all the care that goes into making an oolong that reminds me of buttered popcorn. Seriously, that’s what it tastes like – well, minus that feeling of artery-hardening failure afterwards…and greasy hands. Great way to start the mornin’.
