From Specifically Tea

A full-bodied, malty Assam with a definite fruity, sweet note and a fragrance similar to sweet autumn apples. The Dejoo Estate is among the top 10 estates in the Assam growing region. The origin of the “Dejoo” name is a mystery. It may have originated from a Nepal word meaning “brother”. This Dejoo tea is full of golden tips and produces a rich red liquor. The flavour is very smooth and sweet on its own, but strong enough to take the addition of milk and/or sugar. An excellent morning or afternoon tea.

Another tea finished off. I liked this one; it’s a good, solid breakfast tea. I’d buy it again, although I think I want to try out other Assam teas first to see how they compare.

Truly gorgeous. Fine enough to distinguish itself from a garden-variety bagged or basic loose Assam, yet not so expensive that I can’t keep it on hand for making chai and such.
