From Stash Tea

A delicious blend of green tea, juicy peach and sharp ginger with a touch of matcha, the Japanese tea ceremony tea. Matcha is similar to Gyokuro green tea in that it is an early season, high grade, shade-grown tea. After steaming, the tea leaf is finely ground to produce a light and fine green powder.

Part of my Stash Assortment. Nice peach and ginger flavors, green tea is very subtle.

Yup. Still drinking this stuff daily. I bought a second box, so I guess that means I’m hooked. I don’t know what it is about this tea, but I like it a lot. And unlike some of my other teas, the low price means I don’t have to use it sparingly.

I love Republic of Tea’s Ginger Peach tea, so I was eager to try Stash’s version. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of this one. The ginger was way too strong, completely overwhelming the base tea and whatever peach flavor was supposed to be present; I felt like I was just drinking a straight ginger tea. Definitely not something I would reach for again!

When I’ve had ginger peach teas in the past, I wasn’t favorably impressed. This one, however, is a keeper. With sugar, the peach is more at the forefront, smooth and sweet with the ginger adding a little heat. Without sugar, the ginger heat dominates with the peach taking the edge off of it. I may have to get more of this one for work…

Clean peach, nice perfume. This has a nicer perfume than the other peach or ginger peach teas I’ve tried. It’s a more natural peach flavor, too. Still, that gingery essence is also stronger than most ginger peach teas, and it hits the back of one’s throat. I enjoy this very much, but I like it best when combined in a pot with other peach teas; that mellows out the ginger (and heightens the peach of the other teas, as this one is better). One of the teas I always make sure I have on hand.

First time trying this tea today. Was a bit sharp, so next time I’m going to cut the time down by 30 seconds and try with some cooler water. I couldn’t really taste the ginger at all, but it was peachy.

bravo, bravo!! this is a peachy green tea done RIGHT. finally!

the aroma of the dry leaf in the tea bag is soo delightful, so fresh peachy, like juicy peach & while you can’t smell the ginger so much, it really comes out once the tea is steeped.

it gives a nice bite, but nothing i’d call overwhelming. this isn’t ginger in the sense of say, Turmeric Ginger by Rishi! then again this isn’t loose leaf format, so that may account for the mellowness of the ginger but either way, it’s fine with me.

i do get some of the peach in the flavor, maybe more toward the end of the sip? but yes, it comes through nicely with the ginger (although not as strongly as it did in the dry leaf). quite frankly, i’m impressed. now i feel i can safely venture out to invest in some kind of loose leaf peachy green, perhaps with ginger in the mix! they go nicely together!

not sure if there’s any green tea in this blend besides matcha, and if there is, i’m not sure what kind. but the flavor is really nice. you sense that it’s there, but it’s not overly grassy. this has merely been dusted with matcha. but i’m very happy as i’m a matcha fan and love it for its health benefits and the fact that it has major amounts of chlorophyll (great for cleansing the blood!)

ETA: this totally made up for my horrific experience with Tazo’s Peachy Green. i guess i can consider this a reparation.

Sipdown. Sadly, it doesn’t actually lower my tea count because it somehow never made it onto my list in the first place.

This one is ok. Nothing amazing, but not terrible. The brew smells like equal parts ginger and peach. It doesn’t smell artificial, but it doesn’t smell juicy either. The actual taste is more ginger than peach. The ginger tastes nice and sharp. The peach tastes a bit fake. The green tea and matcha don’t come through at all, except to leave a somewhat unpleasantly dry aftertaste. Afterfeel?

I bought this because I ran out of tea at work and needed a caffeine source. It served adequately in that regard. Won’t be a repurchase, though.

I love this! Enough spicy ginger to clear your sinuses and just enough peach, it’s even better sweetened with brown sugar! I wish I could find it still, no one seems to carry it in my area anymore.
