In the late 1700s dong ding was brought to the misty slopes of Nantou County ,Taiwan by Jui Ren from Fujian, China. Thus was the first tea produced commercially in Taiwan. Dong Ding is naturally farmed and is hand picked in April. It is meduim roasted to about 30% giving a stunning tropical and floral aroma with a complex buscuity flavor and a pure after taste.
