From Strand Tea Company

Dufflagher Estate – Broken Pekoe Souchong 1 (BPS1). Completely handmade tea; the leaves are hand rolled into tight balls which unfurl when steeping. Makes a hearty breakfast cup with well rounded flavor. Best with milk, but if you’re Irish you’ll enjoy it just as it is.

This is a great breakfast tea. Its brisk and malty with only slight bitterness and astringency. I’m still trying to figure out why Mountain Malt only took 3 minutes of steeping while this one takes 5 minutes and still doesn’t have the strength or chewiness. Maybe it has to do with the oxidation or something. Both teas are BPS1 and handmade. Hopefully someone reading this with more tea knowledge than myself can answer this for me. Still this is a nice tea.
