Downton Abbey has inspired so many things, especially a taste for some of the old-fashioned rituals such as taking tea in the afternoon. We imagine Lady Mary would have had her own favorite; something strong, high spirited and unique in flavoring and character. We’ve named this unique blend, Lady Mary’s Reserve, as it is like no other ~ a rich black tea with almond flavoring, rose petals, cardamom and vanilla pieces. Just like the series that has captured our hearts, this blend will be enjoyed over and over again!

The black tea base is perfect – a nice medium strength – but dessert-like in it’s own right. The vanilla is top notch flavoring! Sweet and candy-like almost! The hint of cardamom is a delightful touch and I wouldn’t change the ratio! It’s just enough!
The almonds are sweet, nutty, and near-crusty especially when sniffing the aroma of it all.
I think I will have another cup!
