From Tea Forte

Soft and airy, fragrant with exotic jasmine that lightly scents the steam. Playfully accented with bright, sunny notes of fresh sliced orange.

I’m not a huge fan of jasmine by itself, but it can be nice when paired with other flavors. I thought the orange would be a nice complement; when I opened the packaging, the orange scent came through nicely, but after steeping both the smell and flavor of the orange were almost completely gone. The jasmine was very strong (too strong, in my opinion). I tried a second, slightly longer steep to see if there was any difference, but there wasn’t any noticeable change in the ratio of orange to jasmine.

First cup of the day/morning. I got excited with this one when I opened the package as it smelled like this lovely mix of oranges and jasmine green tea. Naturally I expected to get a nice mix of the two flavors when my cup was ready. Instead I get minor whiff of orange and a whole lot of jasmine. Good news I like jasmine green teas. Bad news, don’t name a tea Orange Jasmine if there’s not much orange… I only steeped it for two minutes…maybe if I give it a little more time that might help? Though I do get a weird orange aftertaste…so I guess that’s something.
