Of the hundred of green tea grown in Vietnam, undoubtedly the most famous one is the ‘fish hook’. The processed tea leaves have a shape of small fish hooks so it was named Fish Hook tea by the farmers. The tea comes from Thai Nguyen, which is considered as the best green tea region in Vietnam by the Vietnamese tea drinkers. And guess what? We grow and make this tea ourselves in our small tea garden in Tan Cuong, a small commune that located in the south of Thai Nguyen. And we’ve been doing this for decades! The tea provides you all of the characteristics of how a classic Vietnamese green tea should be: nutty and vegetal aroma of freshly harvested rice, smooth and grassy in taste, and finish with long lasting aftertaste.
