Samurai TTB #55
Of the four fruity green teas from Tea of Life I tried in the TTB, this one was my favorite! The green tea base was buttery-smooth with a subtle vegetal flavor and the passion fruit flavor was quite distinctive and natural. Hot, I wasn’t getting much flavor, but the passion fruit really started to pop as my cup cooled down. I think this would be a delicious iced tea!

I wasn’t all that crazy about this tea at first, but as I continued to sip it, I found myself liking it more and more. The first few sips had a very delicate flavor to them, but by mid-cup the flavors really popped.
The green tea is the star of this show. It’s a refreshing green tea with soft vegetal notes and a velvety butter taste. Sweet and quite nice. The passion fruit is a subtle flavor that seemed to intensify as I continued to sip.
This is really nice iced.
