Harmonious and sweet composition of sun ripened figs and juice pineapple. A hint of caramel lends this fabulous tea its luscious aroma. Ingredients: fig bits with rice flower (separating agent),apple chunks, candied pineapple (sugar), citric acid, hibiscus blossoms, figs, almonds, red beet, rose buds, hibiscus extract, natural flavour.

I was browsing through Sobeys when I saw that they had a bunch of tea on sale. $8 for 80g…sure I’ll try it. I bought this fully expecting that it wouldn’t be on Steepster. So I was surprised to see it here!
I was pleasantly surprised twitch this blend. I saw that there was roses in it, so I picked most of those out. The fig is something I have never seen in a fruit tisane before. I enjoyed it as a cold brew and I found the hibiscus wasn’t too overpowering here. It was sweet enough with no added sweetener. Not too bad!
Now I will have to cold brew the other tea I bought from Tea Squared—a flavoured green.

I drank this one hot while I had a friend over; we binge watched the entire first season of Misfits which was a phenomenal life choice. I’ve seen the whole series, but not since high school so it was almost like watching it for the first time again. While I remembered the really vague overall plot points of the show, I’ve long since forgotten all of the little jokes and tinier plot points and those are such a major part of what sells the show…
The tea was fantastic too. It’s got a very bright flavour. If I could encompass the whole cup in one word I think it would be “sunny”. It just strongly gives off that vibe, what with the bold, juicy flavour notes of rose, fig, honey, apple and pineapple. I mean, pineapple is kind of the epitome of a ‘summer’ fruit, right? Maybe right after watermelon?
Yum yums.
The name alone is intoxicating.

Glad you liked this one! I really enjoy both this one and Cranberry Purifier, and Sobeys carries pretty close to the whole line up of Tea Squared loose teas (depending on which one you’re shopping at).
Here Sobey’s also carries a good selection of teas. I will have to look for this brand to see if they have it.
I will look for the Cranberry Purifier next time!
