Our Hika Special is a very unusual kind of Sencha. The Japanese term Hika describes the toasty quality that is created by the masterful roasting of the steamed tea leaves under a high temperature. This tea has a pronounced sweet, refreshing aroma. The infusion is full-bodied, smooth, medium sweet and well-balanced in flavour, with notes of roasted peanuts and fresh grass.
