From Teabox

This is our maiden offering from the famed Oaks Tea Estate in Darjeeling. It’s a refreshing black tea with notable vegetal characteristics.

The bright straw colored liquor gives off a welcoming aroma that parallels the perfume of freshly cut coriander leaves. The taste of it upholds these fresh notes in its sweet, almost guava-like, vegetal flavors.Ideal for a sip in the afternoons.

A light, mild darjeeling, with the typical muscatel but no astringency of darjeelings. There’s a slight smoky flavor, like grilled bell peppers or grilled zucchini, that makes it a great tea for autumn afternoons.

The steeped tea is a reddish amber. Its scent is like an autumn leaf pile, with woody notes.
