From Teabox

From an estate brimming with immense potential; we have one of the best teas from the estate this year – a wonderful combination of rich malty character and sweet aroma; ideal for a refreshing start to the day.

LIQUOR
AROMA
Subtle sweetness of dates with notes of malt, wet wood and tree fruit

APPEARANCE
Amber

TASTE
The liquor starts out on a sweet clean note. It is lively and brisk throughout with a robust body. You notice malt and dates in medium intensity right at the start and it stays through the cup. Smooth notes of malt lends this cup its mellow character; made more pleasing with the tree fruit finish.

COMPLEMENTS
A hearty breakfast spread of buttered toast, jam, and fresh fruit

Really gorgeous, punchy aroma of raisins and dates. Thick, full-bodied liquor that can be drunk plain with only minimum astringency and a lovely, satisfying mouthfeel.

This is currently out of stock at Teabox, but I’ll keep my eye out for the 2019 harvest!

Increasing my rating to 86.
