Nice light green tea with fruity notes. Reminds me of a delicate white tea. Brewed this up in my new gaiwan…very cool…it has amazed me how having the right tool for the right tea improves the flavor ten fold:)

Got that one in my sampler a while ago i don’t really know what to think about this one it’s not bad but it have a weird taste that hide all other taste ( maybe the bamboo shout ) a taste i can’t really recognize .

I was hoping for more since it’s contain Genmaicha and that one of my favourite tea i still drink it since i hate to throw away tea but i will not get more i like my genmaicha nature or with matcha in it.

WAs looking forward to the genmaicha in this but even in the dry leaf I didn’t see hardly any toasted rice. Brewed up it has a nice fruity flavour. A pleasant cup of tea but where’s the bamboo and genmaicha flavour? The red peppercorns gave it a little bit of a spicy note that I liked. Overall, not a bad tea but it doesn’t get a really high rating (so far) because I didn’t taste any genmaicha. Someone else commented here that depending on what’s in your sample and you put in your cup, it could change slightly each time you have it. There’s hope then that i may taste the genmaicha next time I try this tea.

Same name, same ingredients, with a tea that looks the same? I’m thinking this is what Acquired Taste in Edmonton, AB sells.

Pleasant, fruity and light – although something I’m drinking, I’m having an allergic reaction to. Very pineapple-y, depending on the sip, with little coconut, but it’s still in there vaguely.

Yum! This tea seals it for me, on my tea journey I’m still learning what I like and don’t like. And I absolutely like green tea. Hands down, best stuff out there to my lil ole’ taste buds.

So for me, the genmaicha wasn’t as nutty as the previous blend I’d recently tried from Dens tea. The red pepper was certainly pretty! But to me, this tea was AAAAALL about the pineapple! (maybe a touch of papaya).

Very fruity in a warm but crisp way. Usually when i try fruity teas, I think they’re better cold. Almost always. Not this tea. This tea is so aromatic and flavorpacked when warm. This is an excellent tea for someone trying to replace sugary drinks with something healthier but still enjoyable. Yum yum yum.

This was a really nice cup of tea. When I smelled the dry leaves, the tea seemed sweet and fruity. Once brewed, the cup was not overly sweet, but definitely didn’t need anything added to it. The word that comes to my mind to describe this is “clean”. I think this is one I’ll come back to whenever I feel like a nice cup of green tea without too much going on in it.

Cargo and James had a bamboo shoots green tea that hooked me entirely. But since I no longer live in Edmonton or anywhere near C&J, I found this version from Teafrog online and it’s quite acceptable, if not almost identical to C&J’s blend. It also looks exactly the same! Jackpot :D This tea has a sentimental place in my heart. The delicate perfume aroma brings me back in time to when I had my first cup, and I can likely credit this as “the tea” that got me into tea in general.
