Backlog from yesterday. The servers were running so slowly that I wasn’t able to upload the description to the database.
Anyhow, I love this tea. I have so much of it in the big ol’ tin it comes in, that I’m sure it’ll go stale long before I finish it up but oh well, it works for now :)
This time around, I added loads of honey for my poor throat. At work, it’s hard to avoid talking, and then I had to give a 30 min training! Oi. That was fun!! ha.
and then… one of my besties in the whole wide world had a bday party, to which she begged me to go to… so of course I ended up in a crowded lounge where one must yell to be heard(she didn’t care that I was sick, in fact I tried to get out of it with that as a reason). What a long night. Ahhh! I was soooo glad to find my bed last night upon arriving home.
With all the honey I added, it was hard to taste much beyond licorice and honey, but that’s ok with me. It did the job! btw, I had this between training staff on our web portal, and going out for the night.
Today, vocal rest and lots of tea. mmmmm.
OMG, someone reviewed this one! They still have that B2G1 sale on, and since I just had a cold, I was wishing so much for something that would help my throat, and I Googled and Googled for reviews of this but found nothing!
What does it taste like?
Do you have any of the other Wellness tins?
Ahhh but that’s a complicated question. When I’m sick all I can really taste is the sweet licorice and maybe a bit of citrus…
I tried it when I was unsick once, and the cinnamon really came out. It has a sweet earthy taste to it, and the sweetness goes pretty deep with the other aspects sortof sitting on top. I think the ginger gave it a bit of zing as well.
I could only afford one out of the different options so I chose this one since it (based on ingredients) seemed to apply in most flu situations, compared to the others that is :)
sorry, I meant fennel!! the fennel dominates, no question there!!
