I cold brewed this.
I get a little bit of the pomegranate taste but it is a little bit lacking for me. I had to add stevia to perk it up enough. It was ok, but I will not be stocking up on this one.
DAVIDsTEA pom power is way better in my opinion.

I really like how mild and flavourful Teaopia’s green teas are, and this pomegranate flavoured one is excellent. The fruit does not overpower the green but makes for a very pleasing blend.

This sounds very nice and like something I would enjoy myself!

Why, whyyy can’t green tea be more simple to prepare for clumsy, lazy people like myself? I like the flavour of green tea but not so much when it tastes bitter and/or burnt. Yuck.

This one came included with a gorgeous little tea set that my girlfriend got me from Teaopia for our anniversary. She knows me too well! We’ve been enjoying the little ritual of sharing a pot of tea on the weekends and I love it. And somehow delicious tea somehow tastes even better when drinking it from the little matching cups :P

But anyways, this tea. I’ve been hearing a lot about cold steeping, and it seemed pretty foolproof to me. So I got a nice tall glass, filled it with water and added a little t-sac of this to steep overnight. Next morning it looked pretty green, so I gave it a try. Blech!! It was really bitter :( maybe I just left it too long? Who knows..but I couldn’t finish the cup. If it weren’t for the bitterness it would have been really nice. The fruity flavours were prominent and refreshing but I just couldn’t get past the pucker-inducing yuck of the bitterness.

I’m going to try cold steeping again, but probably with an herbal or rooibos. Or maybe if I try it with a green again but just reduce the steep time? I really had high hopes for this method since it seemed like it would take the finicky-ness out of making green iced tea but alas, I guess it just wasn’t meant to be.

Greens are tough to coldbrew for me too! Try a few hours next time – I find black teas never get bitter when I coldbrew, but greens always do. Better luck next time! :)

Well, for me it wouldn’t be a daily tea, really. It does smell nice, and tastes pleasant. I like it, and drank two cups, and will drink it again. It just doesn’t get me excited about drinking, or craving it like some other teas. Good, but not stellar for me.

Yay!! A green tea I actually really enjoy!!

Though the dry leaf smells beautifully of pomegranate, I couldn’t find any pomegranate coming through in the flavour of the liquor, which is too bad, but it didn’t really matter because the flavour was so nice and sweet and a little bit citrusy. Very lovely. I’m on my second cup, which is kind of unheard of for me and green tea. I’m actually ecstatic that I’ve found one that I like!!

The tea that turned me on to green tea! I’d smelled it many times while I worked at Teaopia, and it smelled so lovely that I decided to give it a try. Great when I feel like something less strong than all the black tea I drink. The flavouring is subtle, but not weak. A nice calming tea. I’ve also brewed some up and then used it instead of water to cook rice when I’ve made Asian-style meals and again it’s subtle but gives a little extra something.

Mmmm…a lovely smell and nice taste for people who aren’t too into green tea. But don’t oversteep it. 2-3 minutes is good. I don’t taste much of the cranberries, and the tea is yellow in colour so I think it’s more green and a bit of pomegranate that comes through. Although it’s not a holiday blend, it could be well enjoyed this time of year with the cranberry and pomegranate scent – when you’re not drinking it, you’ll open the package just to smell it.

I consider this a tuition tea. Now I know I don’t really enjoy flavoured greens. I use it for iced tea. It’s alright. Firmly ‘eh’.

This is a wierd one for me because I like it but was disapointed with it when I picked it up. You don’t taste the pomegranate much which was what I found was disapointing since I have loved other pomegranate teas. Not sure why I still like it?
