Menghai is the most preferred brand for cooked Pu-erh in China due to the unique fragrance and flavor that its teas carry. This tea has been carefully aged since 1993 to develop and refine its taste. It won the silver medal honor in Shanghai 2005 Tea King Competition. Among the judges was Mr. Zhang Tian Fu, China’s renowned tea expert.

Taste:
Careful aging results in a most refined tea with apricot-like fragrance. It has a smooth mouthfeel and a lasting sweet aftertaste.

Appearance:
Big tea leaves. You will also notice that the color is beginning to change into golden/amberish as a result of years of aging.
