From Teavana

A sip of this sweetly robust straight up Mate blend awakens the Samurai within. Inspired by the Way of the Warrior, this fresh green Mate is imbued with strong spices, invigorating herbs and revitalizing citrus. A wonderful cup of tea that will get you moving!

The ultimate after dinner tea! Comprised of black tea with rich hazelnut and cocoa pieces make this a chocolate-lovers delight. But the smooth minty undertone really sets it apart from other teas. Add our natural Rock Sugar and a splash of cream for a decadent treat!

So I started dragging this afternoon. Chasing a 4 year old and playing with dolls can take it out of you. So I brought up the Teavana app on my iphone to see what I could blend from the cupboard. Both are in my cupboard so here goes nothing. I didn’t know how it be but after. One sip…my…oh my…oh my. They balance each other nicely…and still that nice minty aftertaste. Is it St. Pattys day yet.

I’m not a fan of the Samurai Chai, so I figured blending it with the Cacao Mint would help based on the previous review. I like the blend better than the Chai alone, but I felt the Chai ruined the Cacao Mint :/
I would never of thought to blend these two teas together, so to my surprise it was quite pleasant! Adding a bigger ratio of Cacao Mint made this blend a keeper; definitely will drink this again.
So if you like spice teas like Samurai Chai and White Ayurvedic Chai, this blend would be ideal for you!
