From Teavana

A strong-flavored blend of Assam, Nilgiri and China Black. This tea lives up to the old Irish saying, “a cup of tea should be strong enough for a mouse to trot on."

How to Prepare
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 195-205 degrees and steep for 2-3 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.
Ingredients:
A mixture of Assam black tea, Nilgiri black tea, and China Black tea.

I haven’t been logging much lately, but I’ve been drinking this one a lot. I think Irish Breakfast might be my favorite tea… Maybe. It’s either above, below, or next to Assam. I can’t decide. :)

Currently enjoying this with toast and jam by Christmas tree light before class.

Good solid tea. I like EB or IB for my first cup in the morning. This was on sale close-out at Teavana, and I think it is the cheapest thing I have ever bought from them.

I like the tea unfortunately bought too much of it and I got bored. Next time, I’ll get the small tin.

Good with cream and sugar, though I always make it too strong.

A good strong Irish Breakfast tea, but not overpowering. Lovely on its own, which is more than I can say for some of the Irish Breakfast tea I’ve tried.

My first loose leaf Irish Breakfast tea, it was delicious. But it didn’t have as strong of a flavor compared to some of the bagged Irish Breakfast teas I’ve had.
